- 2 sachets Moosa Passion Blend (passion fruit and pineapple)
- 3/4 oz maple syrup (adjust for sweetness to balance the tannins)
- 2-3 fresh orange peels
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 6 oz (1 glass) of a rich, full-bodied red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, or similar) or non-alcoholic wine for a festive alcohol-free option
Instructions
- Combine the ingredients: In a small saucepan, pour the 6 oz of your chosen rich, full-bodied wine or non-alcoholic wine. Add the 2 sachets of Moosa Passion Blend (passion fruit and pineapple), maple syrup, orange peels, cloves, and cinnamon stick.
- Heat and simmer: Warm the wine over low to medium heat, stirring occasionally. Let it simmer gently for 10-15 minutes, allowing the wine to meld with the flavors from the Moosa Passion Blend and spices.
- Strain and serve: After simmering, remove the sachets and strain out any remaining loose ingredients (orange peels, cloves, and cinnamon stick). Pour the hot wine into your favorite mug or glass.
- Garnish: For a gorgeous touch, add a few pieces of Moosa dried pineapple to your drink. You can either place them directly into the wine or skewer a few pieces and hang them over the rim of the glass.
